Designer under eye bags are fine and all but could they go away now, please.
I got given a bunch of makeup and skincare products to review and this is just the start of many more to come. The first product I am reviewing is the Catrice all round concealer. This can be bought at Dischem for R74.95. There are three skin colour concealers, one green colour correcter for those red areas and a pink colour correcter for the darker blue areas.
I have tried it a few times and have mixed feelings about it. Here is my review of the All Round Concealer from Catrice.
The packaging is very simple, nothing to fancy about it. There are five pans that hold the concealer. The container opens nicely but does not seem to clip close which is a little frustrating. The look is fine, for what one pays one shouldn’t expect something overly packaged.
Here is where I am a bit conflicted about this concealer palette. A part of me loves it and a part of me it like ” what were you thinking Catrice?” I have rather dramatic under eye bags as you can see from the photo, I am not sure if the colour correcter made a difference or not. I don’t notice a major difference to when i just wear concealer. I think that is what disappointed me the most. The green worked rather well to make those red spots not so bright and visible. Now the concealers i find to be rather weird. The light one has a very pink undertone so when placed onto of the pink colour corrected it just makes everything pinker. The medium shade is too dark for my skin and the dark is well too dark.
At the end of the day, I don’t hate this product but I don’t think I would recommend it. I also don’t think I will be rushing out to buy one anytime soon. For the price one pays it is not bad but I don’t feel it gets the job done.
