I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream,
This past week I went and had ice-cream at the most amazing place in Pretoria. On the side of street corner was a little ice-cream shop called the Royal Danish hand-made ice-cream. One could taste that it was hand made for sure.
I went with the lovely company of a family friend and my step-mother. On the outside little pavement we sat on this old colorful metal chairs that I am rather sure have been there since the opening of the shop. I had the most devince butter pecan, which I had never had until now, and then also a scoop of bar-one which was very yummy indeed. I was so impressed by how real the flavours were, it honestly tasted of that yummy cooked butter and as if I was eating a bar-one chocolate.
The atmosphere was one of it being the local loved after dinner treat place. There was a constant flow of people in and out. I am sure the owner was the man who served us and that it was maybe his wife working with him. The machines and other tools looked to be as old as the shop which if i remeber to be right I think it was about 30 years old.
If you ever in Pretoria you should go have an ice-cream at the Royal Danish, it is totally worth it.
