A cream you won’t stop using

As you know I adore my Aya Balm so much. I am on to my second one now because I just love it so much.   Now I have some fantastic news for you, they have a cream. A cream that it just amazing. I honestly was shaken by how lovely this cream is.

A little about the brand

Aya balm is a natural skincare line that comes from sun-dried papayas. It is a small family business that works to minimise their carbon footprint. They have tried to make their packaging as recyclable as possible which I personally respect a lot.

On to the amazing cream

The cream comes in this lovely simple glass jar with a lid that has the Aya name on it. I adore the simplicity because I feel it adds to the idea of being more close to nature.

This cream can be used on your face or your body. It can be mixed with their oils to add to its moisturizing effect.

The cream is very thick but once you start spreading it, it melts almost and then spreads everywhere. I have been impressed by how far a little goes.  This is an oil and water based cream that does not make your skin feel oily in any way, even when mixed with the oil.

My opinion

I love this cream. I love the idea of it being environmentally friendly, cruelty free and South African. I have been using this cream during winter when my skin is at its driest. When they say that it deeply moisturises they really mean that. I have been so impressed at how moisturising it is and how a little goes so far. I have used this on my body and my face, I was really impressed by how it felt on my face. I have oily skin on my face and did not find this cream oily on my skin.

I would recommend this cream and brand to anyone. If you are in South Africa check out their site here.
